Creative work does not begin only when you sit down at a computer. A new angle for a draft, a publishing detail to check, or a thought about an existing project can arrive when a phone is the only device nearby. Lumo 1.1, released on July 28, 2026, brings a creator workspace to iPhone and iPad. Schedules, Artifacts, Skills, connections, and settings now share one entry point for checking and organizing work away from the Mac.
Check the schedule and find the work
With several projects underway, finding the relevant material and schedule can take more effort than adding a paragraph. The mobile workspace brings cross-project schedules together with Artifacts: saved drafts, assets, and other project outputs.
During a short break, you can check what is coming up, open the relevant work, and see where you left off. A brief visit has a specific purpose.
Keep reusable methods close by
Skills are reusable creative methods, such as a script structure, editorial review criteria, or a publishing checklist. Saving those rules keeps them available for similar work, without explaining the requirements again each time.
Skills, schedules, and Artifacts each have a place in the mobile workspace. You can consult a review checklist before revising a draft or return to a piece while checking its publishing schedule.
Understand what you are connecting to
When your Mac is online and remote access is available, an iPhone or iPad can reconnect through a relay across networks. The devices do not have to share the same Wi-Fi. Your Mac needs to remain online while you access its local tasks.
Mac and Cloud workspaces are managed separately. Check which one you are entering before starting work: remotely opening content on your Mac does not move it into a Cloud workspace.
A mobile entry point that fits the moment
A phone has a smaller screen and is often used in shorter visits. We focus the mobile experience on checking progress, organizing ideas, and continuing work. Longer revisions and side-by-side reference work can continue on the Mac.
The release also includes a Mac version supporting the mobile workflow. Consult the official changelog for installation requirements, connection details, and later changes. A single active project is a useful place to begin learning the workspace before expanding it to the rest of your creative routine.
